Emotional Intelligence
Understanding what is happening inside you before it starts running the room.
Love First Aid
Maybe divorce has been mentioned. Maybe she’s checked out. Maybe every conversation turns into a fight.
Maybe she keeps telling you she’s been unhappy for years and you’re sitting there thinking: How the hell did we get here?
I help men in relationship crisis get clear, stop making fear-driven decisions, understand what is actually happening, and figure out what to do next.
You know how to handle pressure. You know how to work. Provide. Fix problems. Make decisions. Carry people.
But this has you completely out of your depth. And the harder you try to fix it, the worse it seems to get.
That’s where I come in.
The panic pattern
Texting. Explaining. Apologizing for everything. Promising you’ll change. Trying to convince her. Trying to get one more conversation. Trying to make her understand how much you love her.
Because every conversation feels like a trap. Everything you say is wrong. You’re exhausted. Pissed off. Scared.
What if I lose my family?
That fear will make you do some incredibly stupid shit. Stop letting panic run your marriage.
What gets lost
And you may still feel blindsided. Both can be true.
She says: “You never listen.”
You think: I’ve spent my entire life taking care of this family.
She says: “She feels alone.”
You think: I’m right here.
She says: She wants connection.
You think: You give her solutions.
She gets more frustrated. You work harder. She pulls farther away. And now you’re both having completely different experiences of the same marriage.
That doesn’t mean you’re doomed. It means something important has been getting lost in translation for a long time. Now we figure out what.
Why men trust me with this
For more than 18 years, I’ve coached people through relationships, identity, leadership, crisis, and major life transitions. I’ve worked with executives, founders, high-responsibility men, couples, and people navigating some of the hardest seasons of their lives.
Relationship crisis rarely stays neatly inside your marriage. It touches your work. Your kids. Your confidence. Your decision-making. Your identity. Your money. Your ability to sleep at night. I understand the whole picture.
I’m a certified coach, but credentials are not the reason people hire me. They hire me because I can get underneath the noise quickly, see patterns clearly, ask the question nobody else is asking, and help them make better decisions when the stakes are high.
I am direct. I am practical. I am not easily shocked. And I will not tell you what you want to hear just because you are paying me.
I will help you figure out what is true.
18+ Years Coaching

Crisis • Relationships • Leadership
No Games. No False Promises.
What this is not
We are not going to beg. Chase. Manipulate. Perform. Turn you into somebody you’re not. Spend six months blaming your childhood. Or decide that taking responsibility means accepting responsibility for everything.
Own your part.
No more. No less.
There may absolutely be things you need to change. There may also be things you have been carrying that were never yours. You need to know the difference.
The actual work
That’s the part most men miss. They come in asking: How do I save my marriage? Fair question.
But before we answer it, I want to know: Who are you inside this marriage? What happens to you in conflict? What do you do when you feel rejected? What do you do when you feel powerless?
Do you chase? Control? Fix? Withdraw? Get defensive? Go silent? Over-explain?
How much of your behavior right now is actually you—and how much of it is fear?
Keeping the marriage is not the same thing as changing the marriage.
And that is the actual work.
No guarantee
I’m not going to sell you a guarantee I cannot make. I cannot control what your wife chooses. Neither can you.
What we can do is make sure you stop making the situation worse. We can get you clear. Grounded. Honest. Accountable.
Able to communicate without losing your mind.
Able to hold a boundary without punishing somebody.
Able to hear hard things without collapsing or going to war.
Able to love someone without abandoning yourself.
Able to walk through whatever happens next as a man you respect.
That outcome is always available to you.
What we actually work on
The deeper work is what keeps you from ending up back in the same place.
01
Understanding what is happening inside you before it starts running the room.
02
Learning how to tell the truth clearly without attacking, shutting down, over-explaining, defending, or disappearing.
03
Knowing what is yours to own. And what is not.
04
Staying loving without abandoning yourself.
05
Figuring out who you are when you are not performing a role, fixing a problem, carrying everyone else, or trying to keep somebody from leaving.
06
Understanding the person you love without becoming responsible for their entire internal world.
07
Becoming as intentional in your personal life as you are everywhere else.
08
Making sure the life you are working this hard to build is actually a life you want.
Leadership infrastructure
You do not leave your relationship at home when you walk into the boardroom. Conflict follows you. Disconnection follows you. Resentment follows you. So does peace. So does trust. So does having a home where you do not have to perform.
The traits that help a man become successful can become liabilities when they are applied indiscriminately to intimacy.
Decisiveness becomes control.
Independence becomes isolation.
Problem-solving becomes fixing.
High standards becomes criticism.
Stoicism becomes emotional absence.
Leadership is not abandoning those strengths. It is learning when to use them. And when something else is required.
If you love a woman with a history
You are responsible for how you show up in the relationship you are building now.
That means learning how to be consistent without becoming responsible for someone else’s regulation. How to reassure without endlessly proving yourself. How to recognize a trauma response without excusing harmful behavior. How to hold a boundary without withdrawing love. How to stop taking everything personally. And how to love someone deeply without disappearing inside the relationship.
Her healing is hers.
Your leadership is yours.
Crisis to deeper work
A relationship crisis often exposes things that have been there much longer than the crisis itself. Patterns. Avoidance. Resentment. Poor communication. Emotional disconnection. Old wounds. Weak boundaries. Over-functioning. Under-functioning. The need to fix. The need to control. The inability to say what you actually feel until you are already angry.
So yes—we deal with the fire first.
Then we figure out why the house kept catching fire.
That is where Love First Aid becomes something bigger than marriage coaching. The goal is not simply to keep a woman from leaving. The goal is to become a man capable of building a relationship neither of you has to escape from.
And that begins with you.
Practical, not dependent
The goal is not for you to need me forever. The goal is for you to become able to recognize your own patterns, regulate yourself, communicate clearly, make better decisions, and trust yourself again.
That is why the work is practical. We talk about what happened. Then we deal with what you are going to do about it.
Clients come to me for clarity in some of the hardest seasons of their lives. They stay because the work changes how they lead themselves long after the crisis is over.
Love First Aid
And it is definitely not internet relationship advice from somebody screaming into a podcast microphone.
This is direct, practical coaching for men navigating real shit.
Marriage crisis. Separation. Divorce. Reconciliation. Betrayal. Emotional disconnection. Major life transitions. And the identity crisis that usually shows up right behind them.
We deal with the fire first.
Then we build differently.
Different gates. Same work.
Some men come here because their marriage is falling apart. Some because they are separated. Some because they are trying to rebuild trust. Some because a relationship ended and they do not want to repeat it. Some because they are successful everywhere except at home. Some because nothing is technically wrong—but they know something needs to change.
Love First Aid offers several ways into the work.

About Elisabeth
I believe people become incredibly good at adapting. You learn what gets rewarded. What keeps the peace. What keeps you safe. What gets you loved. What makes people stay. What makes you successful. And eventually, some of those adaptations stop serving the life you are trying to build.
For more than 18 years, I have coached people through relationships, identity, emotional patterns, leadership, crisis, and major life transitions.
My job is not to tell you who to become. And it is not to make your decisions for you. I ask questions most people will not. I notice patterns you have become too close to see. I will challenge you when you are hiding behind a story. And I will tell you when you are carrying something that was never yours.
There is compassion here. There is accountability here. And there is very little interest in pretending.
Because growth does not require shame. It requires truth.
Integrated strength
You do not need somebody teaching you how to dominate a room. You also do not need someone treating strength like something you need to apologize for.
The goal is not harder. The goal is not softer. The goal is integrated.
Strong enough to hold a boundary. Secure enough to hear something difficult. Self-aware enough to recognize your own pattern. Compassionate enough to understand someone else’s. Disciplined enough to change your behavior. Grounded enough to stop proving who you are.
That is a different kind of strength.
Love first, always
It does not mean tolerate everything. Stay forever. Rescue people. Avoid conflict. Make yourself smaller. Or call dysfunction compassion.
Love requires truth. Sometimes truth repairs. Sometimes truth confronts. Sometimes truth forgives. Sometimes truth says no. Sometimes truth stays. Sometimes truth leaves.
The work is becoming steady enough to know the difference.
Start there
The question is whether you are building it consciously.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you start. You need enough honesty to look at where you are. Enough courage to decide where you want to go. And enough ownership to take the next step.
Start there.
